Shonna Garcia is a native Midlander and loves all that Midland represents. She began her real estate career in 1997 as an escrow assistant and later a licensed closer. It didn’t take long before she realized she wanted to jump into real estate directly and joined The Bill Lanier team in 2004, obtained her Realtor license in 2005 and ultimately her Real Estate Broker’s license in 2013. With her experience, passion for helping people and desire to lead others in real estate she joined forces with Amber Grissom and Ashley Irons and together they created Maven Real Estate group. Shonna gained some experience in the mortgage industry as well, but her true love was always real estate. She always says, “The magic of seeing a first-time home buyer receive their keys, helping a seasoned Buyer/Seller move on to their next home or chapter in life, or being known as the Family Realtor is the ultimate reward!” She has set on many boards over the years. She is the founder of The Fabulous Women of Midland, Granbury, Odessa, Parker County, Monahans and Johnson County (with several others in the process). These groups were designed to bring women together to build relationships, promote locally owned businesses and create an avenue for women to make a difference by giving back to different non-profits each month. Collaboratively there are over 5000 women in these groups. Her favorite and most treasured position began April 8, 2005, when she became Connor’s mom. They love all music activities, traveling, sports, spending time on the golf course and anytime they have together.
